7-Seater Electric Vehicles
If you have a larger than average family you need to accommodate, considering a 7-seater car might be the ideal option rather than owning multiple vehicles, which can become costly when you consider multiple insurance premiums and servicing that you’ll need to pay each year.
But what if you were already considering upgrading to an electric vehicle? Thanks to the Hyundai Santa Fe, you'll be pleased to know that there is such thing as a 7-seater electric SUV so you can benefit from the convenience of a 7-seater vehicle that also has an electric engine, which is designed to offer low or zero emissions that you wouldn’t get with a conventional combustion engine.
Santa Fe Electric
The Santa Fe Electric is Hyundai’s 7-seater SUV that also comes with a hybrid engine so you can reduce your monthly outgoings with a more economical engine.
How to charge the Hyundai Santa Fe
As with pure electric vehicles, there’s different ways to charge your Santa Fe, including home charging and public charge points that are located in the likes of supermarkets and retail parks.
Using the Hyundai Bluelink app, you can also schedule your at home charging, to take advantage of reduced energy rates at certain times of the day.
At home charging can include either a wall box or an AC charging station depending on your grid connection.
Santa Fe Hybrid Technology
The Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid has a 66.9 kW electric motor offering impressive torque and allowing the car to accelerate straight off the line.
There’s also a 13.8kWh battery that is designed to offer superior charging and maximise electric driving.
Hyundai Santa Fe Engine
The Santa Fe comes with either a Hybrid engine (1.6 T-GDi turbo hybrid delivering 230 PS) or the Plug-In Hybrid engine (1.6 T-GDi Plug-in Hybrid delivering 265 PS).
Hyundai Santa Fe 7-Seater Convenience
The 7-seater Hyundai Santa Fe is designed to make your life easier, especially when travelling with children thanks to the easy third row access button. If you have your hands full, you don’t need to battle with the second row of seats in order to access the rear row.
For complete peace of mind, the Hyundai Santa Fe has a rear occupant alert that will provide a visual and audible alert if movement is detected in the rear seats when the driver has left the vehicle.
The Santa Fe seat configuration is a 2-3-2 structure, so you even have the option to increase your boot space, whilst maintaining a 5-seater SUV if you don’t need 7 seats for every journey.
Hyundai Santa Fe Comfort Features
The front seats of the Santa Fe are ventilated (Ultimate trim only) to provide a more comfortable environment, especially when driving in warmer temperatures.
You’ll also find wireless phone charging, so you don’t need to have charging cables trailing across the centre console which can get in the way and look unsightly.
Santa Fe Performance
The Santa Fe is designed to perform in all environments thanks to the multitude of terrain modes, which includes snow mode, sand mode and mud mode.
There’s also MacPherson suspension which provides enhanced stability and ride performance whilst also offering a comfortable ride.
