Reduce the Cost of Your Fleet with Electric Vans

If you are responsible for a fleet of vans or you rely on a van for your business, it might be time to consider upgrading to an electric van.

Electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular due to the cost saving opportunities and positive impact on the environment.

There are several options available if you are considering an electric vehicle, including pure Electric, Hybrid and plug-in Hybrid. Each of which have their own benefits and it’s important to find the right solution for your own requirements.

Citroen Electric Vans

The new Citroen e-Dispatch provides fleet managers with an incredibly low-cost option, costing just 4p a mile to run as well as reduced maintenance costs due to less moving parts.

The range of the Citroen e-Dispatch electric van can reach 205 miles (on a 75kWh battery), ensuring your drivers can go about their daily journeys as normal. There is also no reduction in payload, meaning you can still take advantage of the 1,400kg capacity.

The e-Dispatch comes in three body lengths, offering load volumes between 4.6m3 and 6.6m3. The three trim levels, X, Driver and Enterprise are designed to accommodate your requirements and driving style. For those who’s drivers are likely to be on the road for long periods of time, possibly a long way from the office, the Enterprise option allows the cab to be transformed into a mobile office.

Benefits of Electric Vans

Depending on your charging port options, you can charge an electric van to 80% in just 30 minutes, meaning you are ready to go from the moment your drivers arrive for work.

Another benefit of going electric with your commercial vehicle is that there are no emission charges when travelling through low emission zones.

Ergonomically, the Citroen e-Dispatch has been designed with comfort in mind. The high driving position makes it much easier for the driver to feel in control on the road as well as maintaining a good posture, especially when on long journeys.

For complete peace of mind, the battery has an 8 year or 100,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first.
